🍈 Product Name: Thai Musk Melon (Dưa bở/gang) ea
Scientific Name: Cucumis melo L. var. conomon
👉 Harvest Date: ~55–85 days after sowing (commonly 60–70 days), picked when skin deepens to yellow — the ripeness signal for this variety, unlike dưa gang which is picked while still green
💚 Natural flavors: Trailing vine plant with round-lobed, hairy leaves; fruit is mostly cylindrical with longitudinal stripes, skin gray to shiny green (sometimes yellow); flesh is white to pale green, firm yet crisp, and only lightly sweet — becomes soft and mealy ("bở") once fully ripe, which is where the name comes from

- Note: Dưa bở and dưa gang are the same species (Cucumis melo var. conomon) and are often used interchangeably as regional names in Vietnam — northern regions tend to say "dưa bở," while "dưa gang" is more common elsewhere. No dedicated USDA/Nutritionix entry exists for this variety, so figures above use honeydew melon (same species group) as the closest reference; the real fruit is lower in sugar and firmer than honeydew.
